Crying Corner
by Sherilyn Baldwin
A corner engulfs my tears,
Flowing into the cracks
In the plaster wall,
Disappearing from sight, not mind.
A small form is hidden
By the shadows of a corner
Its body shakes and quivers,
Slight gasps emerging from the dark.
The tears flow around,
Pieces of a heart upon
The hard, tiled floor
Yet no one sees.
